Making it always a yellow pelt for the quest would be much easier to tell.

Also, the amount of gray-like items makes it hard to tell them apart from the background

This floor tile is going to be changed eventually for the reasons you mentioned. Most other realms have similar (but smaller) issues as well, so these graphics aren’t all final yet.
