Bug: Trait combination causing duplicate entries in timeline + other bugs

Game version: 0.1.20
Operating system: Windows 10 Version 2004 Build 19041.450

*Creatures can have multiple entries in the timeline. Sometimes the duplicate disappears.
*While buffs/heals are still happening, the action menu displays and allows me to take action
*Carnal Genesis causes “at the start of their turn” healing effects to occur (Mending, Nutrient Blood), which can trigger Carnal Genesis again, sometimes chaining more than once. This is different than 3, and I’m not sure if the change was intentional.
*Selecting Attack will randomly hit creatures which have died without giving me the choice of picking a target
*Copying big logs takes a very long time (3060 lines took 8 minutes)

I do have “Hide Stat Gain/Loss Text” and “Hide Buff/Debuff Text” set to ON, which may be related.

Testing I’ve done to try and narrow down the problem:

Multiple timeline entries:
Seems to occur during multiple Soothing Rain procs. Hard to see in the log, but here is a screenshot showing 6x “Inaer Rift Dancer” - https://i.imgur.com/j5Bzyb2.png. The duplicates can stay in the timeline and will give that creature another turn. It does not seem to remember the default action (Defend) for this duplicate creature. Action menu displaying:
After testing it on multiple maps, the action menu seems to open between the double Soothing Rain triggers. One round of Soothing Rain will happen, the menu will open, then the second Soothing Rain will happen. While this menu is open, the “current” monster (highlighted in a blue color) can change since heals can trigger Carnal Genesis. If I take action while effects are still occurring, the game may soft lock: it keeps running, but the buttons don’t respond to input. If I wait until the triggers stop happening, I can fight as normal.

Attacking dead creatures:
This one seems to be randomly linked with Carnal Genesis triggering with the action menu being open early. If I select “Attack”, it does not let me select a creature, and automatically hits a dead one. Pastebin link: https://pastebin.com/nK6SgxN5. Line 349-352 Unicorn Consecrator kills Phase Marauder. Line 386-389 Unicorn Vivifier attacks the dead Phase Marauder.

Edit: 08/18/2020 - Updated the multiple timeline entry with a log as soon as I took the screenshot.
Edit: I see there is a new version 0.1.21. I’ll check if the timeline bug is fixed.

Duplicate monsters in the timeline seems to be fixed with 0.1.22. Monsters are still attacking dead creatures, but it doesn’t seem to be as often (log: https://pastebin.com/Mtk4fFzs line 249 Koloss Firebrand was killed, lines 291-293 Bard Jongleur attacks the dead creature).

The game is still randomly soft-locking, and I’m nearly certain it is related to Carnal Genesis. I can’t provide a log (either crash log or combat log) because the game stops taking input. I can only show you a screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/ID4m7nt.png. I had selected Attack with my Bard Jongleur, the targeting reticule was on the Ritual Abomination (as the status at the top shows), and hit Q to cancel (Circle on the PS4 controller). Instead of going back to the menu, the reticule disappeared and the game no longer takes any input, but appears to still be running. I have to Alt+F4 out of the game at this point. This happens with other actions, as well; I’ve had it lock up after inspecting a creature.

As far as I can tell, it seems to happen when the menu opens while effects are still happening (triggered by Carnal Genesis + Mending + Nutrient Blood) and the current creature changes. If I don’t back out of my selection (I do an attack, or defend), it does not soft lock.

I was able to get a video of the soft lock, and watching it frame by frame, I think I see the problem: https://youtu.be/svPTPpdkRnE (occurs at about 9s).

The menu opens on Succubus Spirit’s turn. I select Attack, the menu disappears, and Carnal Genesis switches the current turn to Bard Jongleur. The reticule shows on the Flesh Abomination, I wait a second, then hit Q to go back the menu, but it doesn’t show, and the game soft locks.

It seems like a few of these bugs are all linked together, and I think I’ve found/fixed the problem now. Thanks again for all your help! The details are greatly appreciated and helped me narrow down the issue.
