If it’s a crash, please copy and paste the full error message below, or post a screenshot of it. Otherwise, leave this field blank.
Please describe in as much detail as possible how to reproduce the bug or crash.
The creatures seem to be more likely to wander off when these conditions have been met. C is my playstyle and may not be related to the conditions required.
a. The creatures are not in a single straight line
b. The enemy encounter happens on a corner of the line of creatures
c. The player keeps pressing E and moving onward with little delay between multiple battles to increse the chances of the bug
d. The creatures don’t return to the position of the character after the battle is over
e. Not tested enough: Move in the same direction that you were moving in when the battle took place.
f. The “stickiness” fails to recapture the creatures when they start to wander off
New conditions since some conditions didn’t hold true.
a. The creatures don’t return to the position of the character after the battle is over.
b. (more reliable) The character moves in the opposite axis of the direction that the enemy triggered the encounter. Example, the enemy moved right triggering an encounter. After the battle the player holds either up or down for a few tiles.
c. The “stickiness” fails to recapture the creatures when they start to wander off
Once 1-2 of the creatures have wondered off no dialog boxes can be triggered without another enemy encounter. Except the main menu. This is a problem if all of the enemies have been defeated due to the player not being able to go to the next level or exit the current level (teleporter). No object, itreasure, or NPC dialog boxes can be triggered either.

- Any other details to help us solve the problem, such as what you were doing when the bug/crash occurred, or any hints on how we can reproduce it.
The bug could be solved by always having the creatures return to the tile of the character after every battle. Although this seems like a workaround to the actual problem. The real problem seems to be that the creatures before the encounter seem to think that that is where the King was. At the end of the battle the creatures follow the direction of the king at the wrong coordinates.
I can’t figure out why dialog boxes do not show up if any of the creatures have wondered off.
