Doombringer triggering enemies' effects that happen on team res

So I’m playing Doombringer and my team is getting frozen by a Frostbite Wight. I think it’s because of the Doombringer perk Eruption - “After your creatures’ on-attack effects activate, their on-resurrect effects activate as well.”

But Cold Like War is the ENEMY’S on-res trait, so I don’t think it should be activating? My creatures didn’t die or rez at all in this fight so something was triggering Cold Like War that should not have:

Yeah the wording is kind of strange, if it basically triggers a res despite your creatures not dying, then would that mean you could hit the res cap without ever dying?

I would think since it says your creatures on-res effects, it wouldn’t trigger enemies’.
