I’ve just never considered buying the scroll to identify what creatures my party’s facing in battle, because it feels like a waste of precious opportunity to do anything but stay focused on killing and defending. (And if I’m misunderstanding the scroll, and it can be cast out of battle to affect the next one, please excuse my ignorance.) I was thinking it might be useful to have a consumable that the Pocket Dumpling would then provide–like any other consumable–at the start of battle. Then it doesn’t take up a creature’s turn in battle; and could also be restricted to dungeon finding, rather than made available for sale. This would keep the thing from being spammed.
Just a thought.
