Breeding two higher gene strength creatures resulted in a loss of gene strength. A 111k glade watcher + 73k apis defender resulted in a 100k glade watcher.
This probably results in a loss because Gene Strength is now correctly capped based on your player level (this was a bug that was fixed recently), so your Gene Strength should not have been that high before.
What is the cap? For example, if my character is level 100, is 100 also the gene strength cap?

If your character is level 100, each parent can contribute a maximum of +100 Gene Strength in addition to what the creature’s normal Gene Strength would be.
But there are reports of it going up to x3 mage level.
My mage level is ~25500 and the gene strength gained is 3x my mage level.
Even though my gene strength creature is below mage level if the 2nd creature bred with is above mage level I gain 3x mage level in gene strength.
The bug was only fixed yesterday, have you bred anything new since then?
Sorry, It’s back at 2x mage level now.
Thanks for fixing it!
Level 278 mage.
Bred a creature and got 4,9, 18, 37, and 82 gene strength.
Bred a creature with 1510 gene strength and got 2337 gene strength. Is this working as intended?
