Luminesce Overwrites Bigger Barriers - or… how I hate this perk with a passion

ver 0.0.39

Repro Steps:
Creature Base Life = 806 (Caritas on the far right)
Cast Earthen Embrace to give Big Barrier to my creature (https://imgur.com/aljpYmy) Barrier = 612
Creature also heals
Heal procs Luminesce
Luminesce’s crappy Barrier overwrites Big Barrier (https://imgur.com/E0riHIe) Barrier = 14

Its the standard that new buffs overwrite older ones.

And with Gem of Zephyr or however the name was the trait becomes very powerful, especially with multicast: First time full heal with low barrier, second heal strong barrier.

Wut? The Perk caps out at 50% of your creatures’ HP, and it doesn’t build a Barrier bigger with each application.

At best, you gain what amounts to 50% HP in exchange for a massive amount of Perk Points (1200+), provided your overheal vastly exceeds your creature’s HP. Even at 50% HP cap, it pales in comparison to the Barrier you’d get from just casting any spell that actually provides a Barrier.

For example, f I cast Holy Armor, I gain 8x my HP in a Barrier.

Even that screenshot shows 2x HP from a Barrier cast by a silly tree with next to no Intelligence.

newer shouldn’t overwrite older if older is better
