So I’ve run into the situation before where the realm property “Gems are sealed after casting” will interfere with Lip Animation’s ability. And that makes sense to me.
I’m currently using a Rune Knight build however, where the spells cannot be sealed. When I go to cast a Rune spell, Lip Animation is not copying it when this realm property is active! When it comes around to the original caster’s turn again, the Rune spell will still have plenty of charges and it is unsealed. So I’m not sure if this is a bug, but I also don’t understand how this realm property would prevent Lip Animation from working in this case!
This is indeed a bug, but thanks to the poor way I originally coded the way sealed spell gems work, there’s not much I can do to fix this outside of revamping the battle system at this point.
