Mage perks that trigger on kill: Working as intended during wipe?

I’ve noticed that if I wipe all the enemies in 1 go, things like resourcefulness extract and chaos mage carve&spit don’t activate. Not sure if this is intended but the perks are way less useful than expected like this.

Also carve& spit does not trigger on kills due to traits.

Also improved extraction doesn’t seem to trigger on resourcefulness extract for me.

Going to add some logic to ensure this isn’t a problem in the next patch. Thanks!

Is this also the case with the nature mage perk for extraction?

nature mage perk specifies attacks. I Was disappointed when I switched to nature mage hoping to get a bunch of easy cores.

Well it seems these perks activate after everything else. So if there is at least something alive, they trigger. The problem is my team is designed to kill everything in 1 go or die.
