[PC] Angel soulslayer not diffusing creatures properly

Situation: Angel Soulslayer, equipped with a sword that’s enchanted with “Grant Ability: Culling Strike”

Supposed correct behaviour: Angel Soulslayer kills a creature using its artifact effect, soul/core is granted

Actual behaviour: Angel Soulslayer kills a creature using its artifact effect, soul/core not granted

How to reproduce: Equip AS with correct artifact, with correct enchantment, kill a creature.

Was this designed to work like this because it would be too OP or is it really a bug? It’d think its a bug since both the creature and the material are quite rare.

For now, any ability that instantly kills a creature takes priority over “on-kill” abilities. Similarly, abilities that allow creatures to dodge attacks do not activate “on-hit” abilities. This obviously isn’t ideal, and is definitely something that will be addressed eventually.

Kay, thanks! I will remove the artifact for now and give it to some other creature for now. Seemed like a cool synergy.
