Question about the Eruption Perk on DoomBringer

Been having problems with this Perk, the resurrect effect in particular. If this Perk actually does work the way it should be, It seems to be very unviable for on-attack based builds or any creature(s) with on-attack based traits. Reason being is that traits that punish for resurrection will still apply when you attack, because after an on-attack effect activates, so will resurrection effects, this also means stuff like ‘Stay Dead’ and ‘Final Breath’ will destroy them after attacking even without any means of resurrecting. If this is how it’s meant to work, it should be buffed so effects like these have less potency to make On-Attack-related builds more viable.
