Siralim 3 - Patch 0.8.0 released!

  • ADD: Friden now gives a different big favor reward: a new NPC named Casual John. CJ allows you to fine-tune the difficulty of your enemies in exchange for an increased amount of treasure from all sources. You’ll find CJ in Nex, close to Ilberd.
  • CHANGE: Alteration Spells are now unlocked after finishing the game’s main story quests instead of from reaching rank 4 favor with Friden.
  • CHANGE: Itherian Creatures no longer grant Rank S knowledge after killing only one of them. They now work the same way as all other creatures. However, you still have a 100% chance to extract from them.
  • CHANGE: Rebalanced the spawn rate of Itherian Creatures. They are now more rare, as originally intended.
  • CHANGE: Re-coded the way extra attacks are handled. This is mostly just an internal change, but should ensure that attacks that spawn from traits like “Charge” always happen, and always activate their on-attack effects.
  • CHANGE: Vulcanar’s big favor reward is now awarded at rank 4, up from 3. This change is retroactive.
  • CHANGE: Surathli’s big favor reward is now awarded at rank 5, up from 3. This change is not retroactive.
  • CHANGE: Zonte’s big favor reward is now awarded at rank 3, up from 2. This change is not retroactive.
  • CHANGE: Friden’s big favor reward is now awarded at rank 3, down from 4. This change is retroactive.
  • CHANGE: Creatures now recover 50% of their health between arena matches, up from 25%.
  • CHANGE: Clarified description for the “Charge” trait.
  • CHANGE: Sigil descriptor for Meraxis’ realm has been changed from “Meadow” to “Bog”.
  • CHANGE: You can now destroy bushes in Meraxis’ realm after picking berries from them.
  • CHANGE: Added some additional dialog to the undead army boss fight to emphasize that it’s… an undead army, and therefore has more than 6 creatures in it.
  • FIX: Itherian Creatures will no longer spawn in non-Itherian realms.
  • FIX: “Gladiator’s Bane” talisman’s rank 100 power wasn’t working.
  • FIX: “Pariah” trait had an extra, unintended effect.
  • FIX: “Square Nothing” trait caused the creature to attack, rather than simply deal damage.
  • FIX: Sometimes, players would be treated like they lost a normal battle after losing in the arena.
  • FIX: Many traits were still able to trigger even after a creature reached their maximum or minimum amount of a certain stat.
  • FIX: You can now walk through NPCs in realm taverns.
  • FIX: The crowd on the right side of the arena was mostly comprised of the same NPC sprite.
  • FIX: Crash when selecting a trait in the library that didn’t have a corresponding material.
  • FIX: Crash when using or destroying the last item in the inventory list.
  • FIX: “Enemies Belong To Same Race” sigil property wasn’t working.
  • FIX: When entering a realm that is at the highest depth you’ve ever been, the game saved your data twice in a row. This could sometimes prevent a backup file from being created, and also caused realms to take a bit longer to generate on larger save files.
  • FIX: “Zod” rune was only working if the creature’s health was already below 20%.
  • FIX: Battle target selector showed the number of cores you have of the transformed creature, rather than the original creature.
  • FIX: “Blind” debuff should now always work correctly - it’ll seem much more powerful than before because it wasn’t always activating when it should have.
  • FIX: Dust item description said that it works at the Arcane Refinery - should be Arcane Vault.
  • FIX: Lots of cases where effects should have prevented dodging or critical damage but they didn’t.
  • FIX: Mass grinding runes didn’t individually count toward achievements/accolades.
  • FIX: “Burn”, “Poison”, and “Barrier” debuffs/buffs sometimes didn’t have an associated value and therefore did nothing.
  • FIX: “Burst of Power” trait could sometimes never trigger.
  • FIX: “Otherworldly” achievements weren’t unlocking via the correct criteria.

i dont seem to be able to use alteration spells from nex now, used cj prior to it to fine-tune normal realms
also both enemies and my creatures acted as if they were blind, while they were not
