Spell Tap Gems Working w/ Solace (and probably other traits too)
Spell Tap - This creature can’t cast spells directly, but can equip 3 extra Spell Gems. At the start of battle, your creatures gain access to this creature’s non-temporary Spell Gems. This trait ignores other creatures with the Spell Tap trait.
Solance - At the start of battle, your creatures gain 10% Health for each non-temporary Life Spell Gem each of your creatures have equipped. This trait does not stack.
Given the descriptions of these abilities, I don’t think it is intended that Spell Tap gems count for traits like solace, since it should be counting the number of EQUIPPED spell gems. You get crazy numbers out of this interaction that essentially break the game.
It is also inconsistent with other traits such as Caustic Cerberus’ channeling, which does not get any benefit from Spell Tap gems.
